This beautiful temple is also called the White or Silver Temple, it is not very old as the original has been damaged by flooding in the past. But the all temple is an work of sculpture art and a great place to make photos. For Thai people it is an important temple to visit as it also holds the City Pillar of Nan town. And paying respect to the City Pillar brings good luck. And in the evening this temple is beautiful illuminated.

When to go to the Wat Ming Muang?

All year around, daily from 7:00 - 19:00, entrance is free.

The Wat Ming Muang is in the Historical Center of Nan town, next to the famous Hot Bread.
