Wat Pakor Wang near Wiang Sa

Wat Pakor Wang in Nan - Nan Thailand

When traveling in Thailand you might be a bit tired of temples, but this meditation temple in a teakwood forest is really a totally different experience. Even if you are not religious then it is great place to reflect your own thoughts. The temple itself and the surroundings are very different as normal temples.

When to go to the Wat Pakor Wang?

All year around, daily, from 8:00 - 17:00, entrance is free.

Where to go?

The Wat Pakor Wang is about 10km south from Nan town.

How to go there?

With you own transport follow route 101 to Wiang Sa, after about 10km make a u-turn and after 500m take a small road to the left. There are signs for the temple. Follow this road for another 800m.

By public transport take the bus to Wiang Sai and get off at the road to the temple (show the name to the bus driver). Be careful to cross the road and walk the last 800m.
