Phu Fa Waterfall in Doi Phu Kha National Park

In Thai Nam Tok means waterfall, so Phu Fa Waterfall would called Nam Tok Phu Fa although sometimes it is written as Namtok Phu Fa. This waterfall is located within Doi Phu Kha National Park along route 1256 to Bo Klua. But to get to the waterfall you will have to go hiking for 2 days (go & back).

When to go to Phu Fa Waterfall?

In the green mountains of Nan - Thailand are many waterfalls. All waterfalls can be visited daily from 9:00 - 17:00, all year around but are best to be visited at the end of the raining season or during the cool season. Almost all waterfalls are free to visit but some waterfalls are inside a National Park and some National Parks will charge a entrance fee. During heavy rains / bad weather waterfalls or National Parks can be closed.

How to get to Phu Fa Waterfall?

There is no public transport to Doi Phu Kha National Park, but you could take the bus to Pua and then change to a songtheauw to Bo Klua. By private car or motorbike follow route 101 to Pua and then route 1256 to Bo Klua. Along the road you will see signs for Doi Phu Kha National Park.
