Tad Man Waterfall near Chiang Klang

In Thai Nam Tok means waterfall, so Tad Man Waterfall would called Nam Tok Tad Man although sometimes it is written as Namtok Tad Man. This waterfall is about 15km west of Chiang Klang in the mountains between Chiang Klang and Song Kwae. As going there is a bit of the beaten track not many people visit this waterfall. A bit a pity because this waterfall is beautiful located between stunning beautiful forest, what makes for a wonderful little hiking in the area near the waterfall. The lowest level of the waterfall is easy to reach, just a 5 min walk on a easy trail. You can swim at this lowest level of the waterfall. If you want to go higher you will have to walk a not very well maintained walking trail with stairs into the jungle.

Although there are toilets and a house for the park rangers there is not much else out there. So better take your own food & drink with you. What makes it a great place to sit, relax and enjoy a lunch along the cool water and amidst the green jungle of Nan - Thailand.
